Oh Martha! How I love thee…

After a long hiatus, I am getting back to blogging, and boy is it awesome to be back! 🙂

In the East Coast, there are a few dreamy summer destinations that everyone dreams about- Hamptons, Martha’s Vineyard, Provincetown, Cape Cod. After a long freezing winter, you count down to spring an summer, and run to the nearest beaches for some much needed sun!

Martha’s Vineyard is the setting for the epic movie Jaws to Jumping the Broom, apart from being the vacation stomp ground for Obamas, Clintons, and other big shots! Watching the movies and looking at pictures, I always had a fantasy view of what it would like, and I finally got a chance to see what the fuss was all about!

After the perfect 3 day break, here is my take- Martha’s Vineyard was everything I thought it was and more: it is a picturesque setting- the beautiful blue ocean, stunning lighthouses, fantastic beaches, cute local stores, and seafood shacks. My bucket list is to be one of those people that spend a month on their boat, hitting port to port- Martha is full of people enjoying the boat and sail life, and I for one am very envious! There is something in the air- such a relaxing vibe, you feel the stress evaporate and sense of calm coming inside you.

Here is some proof! 🙂
